EXPERIENCING AND DOCUMENTING NATURE
For individually, we had to do a series of booklet of our experiences and information collected at site. We were compulsory to choose one animal and one plant to elaborate and describe their information. The booklet had to include our thoughts and experiences on the site.
On the15th of April 2015, our class journeyed to KL Birdpark for a site visit in relevance to our assignment. we are required to determine a 5x5 site and a species of animal, plant and habitat for our individual assignments.
From this project, I learnt that both the natural and built environment plays a major role in our daily lives. Therefore we should not abuse it

In our individual scrapbook journal, we were to show our personal experiences and thought, attach photographs, information and also information of elements that we personally investigated. The scrapbook journal must include:
1. Our 5 Senses Experience. (See, Hear, Taste, Smell, and Feel)
2. Explain and elaborate our understanding of the ecosystem/habitat/natural environments.
3. Our personal thought and reflection on each topic that we have been recording and what interested us
the most.
4. Describe and elaborate one plant species and one animal/insect through illustration, sketches or
diagram or pictures.
5. Organised our findings and thought systematically and clearly on our sketch book
and papers
This trains us to recognize the different elements in a natural environment. Understanding nature helps us to understand how the world works around us.

For group work, We had to create info graphic posters based on our site visit to KL Bird Park and Orchid Park. We were choosing flamingo as our topic. We were doing research through books and internet. Through this project, I gained a lot of knowledge and know more about flamingo.
